Getting its start in the 1920s, A Giraud Limoges specialized in very delicate porcelain wares. In later years, A Giraud Limoges Porcelain was located in a factory in Sauviat-sur-Vige, France. In 1935, this factory was purchased from Emil Dupuy.

A Giraud and Brousseau then worked in partnership from 1935 until 1967. After Broussseau's death in 1967, the A Giraud Limoges Porcelain factory became known as A Giraud and Cie. 1979 saw another name change for the company as it became A Giraud and Fils.
