Franziska Hirsch

Franziska Hirsch has earned herself a place in the history of decorating high quality porcelain. She was well known for decorating flower bouquets of exquisite detail in the Meissin style. From 1893 until 1930, Franziska Hirsch had a studio situated in Dresden. From this studio, she produced finely detailed porcelain pieces, usually utilizing the Meissen and Vienna styles of decorating. Franziska Hirsch
Franziska Hirsch Franziska Hirsch typically used blanks that she purchased from porcelain manufacturers such as MZ Austria, Meissen, and Rosenthal. Throughout its 37 year history, the Franziska Hirsch porcelain studio was very productive. The Meissen factory, citing copyright infringement, eventually stopped Franziska Hirsch from using the mark of the crossed swords on her porcelain pieces.
