RS Prussia Porcelain Marks

Antique RS Prussia porcelain marks vary, but most commonly feature a two-color stamp of a wreath and a star, together with the words "R. S. Prussia". The "RS" initials stand for Reinhold Schlegelmilch, founder of the porcelain factory at Suhl in Prussia ( present-day Germany).

The wreath on the stamp is usually green, with the words in red. Also a red five-pointed star appears at the top center of this arrangement.

The second image on this page may represent an RS Prussia stamp that is a reproduction, as it lacks the word "Prussia", and the star is a green color.
